How to Set Up IPTV on Windows PC & Laptop
Watching on a Windows computer is the fastest way to test your subscription the minute it arrives. VLC is free, it is already on most computers, and it opens our playlist with a single paste.
Before you configure the app, make sure you have an active IPTV Canada subscription. If you have not chosen a provider yet, read our guide to the best IPTV Canada service first — you will need a login before step one.
Windows PC & Laptop: step by step
Follow these in order. The whole thing takes about 3 minutes.
- 1
Install VLC media player
Download VLC from videolan.org and install it. If you already have VLC, skip this step.
- 2
Open a network stream
In VLC click Media, then "Open Network Stream". A box appears asking for a network URL.
- 3
Paste your M3U link
Paste the M3U playlist link from your welcome email and press Play. VLC loads the full channel list into its playlist panel.
- 4
Use IPTV Smarters for a TV-style layout
If you want a proper guide and catch-up instead of a plain list, install IPTV Smarters for Windows and log in with your Xtream Codes details.
That is it — you are watching
All 54,000+ channels and 195,000+ films and series are now on your Windows, with a full seven day TV guide. If anything looks wrong, message live support and we will fix it with you.
